I've only recently jumped onto the Zendaya train. I was a little too old for Disney Channel when her shows, Shake It Up and K.C. Undercover, started, as well as her Disney Channel film, Zapped. That being said, I missed the release of her album, and basically every other incredible success she had up until the announcement of her involvement in the new Spider-Man film, Spider-Man: Homecoming. Anyone that knows me knows that I am a huge Marvel geek, especially when it comes to Spider-Man, so when her casting was announced, I quickly went to work, watching all of her screen work and listening to her music. During this game of catch-up, I came across her shoe line, Daya by Zendaya, which had been released in 2013 at Nordstrom.


After a few months of my newfound fan-ship, Zendaya announced that she was releasing a clothing line in correlation with the Daya by Zendaya shoe line. I absolutely love Zendaya's style and her shoe line is to die for, so I was pretty pumped about the news.

And well, after a short few months, I am happy to announce that the line is finally here, and even more happy to announce that it comes in plus sizes!

As a girl who straddles the line between standard and plus sizes, I was ecstatic to see for myself, and for my other plus size ladies, that Zendaya had designed a line that doesn't just fit her body type, but the bodies of so many others, too. It's not often that celebrity lines take into account us size 12 and up girls, so Zendaya receives all my thanks and respect. Thank you so much, Z!
