Welcome to And I Was the Sea. I'm Casey, and this blog is a tiny extension of my life. Here I will post about topics that I love, be it fashion, food, books, music, movies, or anything in between, as well the occasional insight to my life.

I just completed my freshman year at the University of Kentucky, studying English, as well as rhetoric and digital media. I am currently spending my summer days interning full time at a law firm (gross...but at least it pays). I love to play drums, and make jewelry during my spare time.

My greatest pursuits are seeking out the world's greatest pizza places, collecting nail polish, wearing bright lipstick, and writing like a mad woman, in hopes that one day I might share a book with all of you.
